Coventry University is an award-winning modern university that is innovative and dynamic. In the last few years, we have broken the mould in order to widen the reach and quality of our education offer – opening University Colleges, with a life-shaped approach to learning, in the West Midlands, East London and Yorkshire – and invested hugely, in partnership with business and research bodies, in the facilities and places where our students, graduates and staff work together.
Our awards and successes demonstrate our commitment to quality teaching and learning, outstanding student satisfaction and to producing globally-ready graduates. Recognised as one of the UK’s leading universities, we were awarded Gold for Outstanding Teaching and Learning in the 2017 Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and five stars for Teaching Excellence in the QS Survey 2017.
The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Coventry University delivers high quality teaching and research that inspires future generations of leaders and practitioners to make a valuable impact upon our world. As a faculty, we work together in a high-performing, outcome focused culture to make a difference to individuals, organisations and communities. We value our staff and support and develop them to feel empowered and to thrive, both professionally and in their own health and wellbeing. We recognise the importance of coaching and mentoring to motivate, support and develop our staff to overcome shorter term challenges and to achieve longer term goals. We value equality, diversity and inclusion in our faculty and seek to take actions to further enhance the culture we work within.
